BLANK ROME REPRESENTS SOFISA USA INC IN ITS PURCHASE OF AN INTEREST IN GSTATE HOLDINGS LLC
Blank Rome represented Sofisa USA Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sofisa S.A., in its purchase of an interest in GState Holdings LLC, which will own the majority interest in the development of new student housing and related commercial facilities at Georgia State University in Atlanta. The deal value was $22.3 million, and is part of a continuing series of investments in U.S. real estate property by members of a European family. The transaction team was led by Rob Wessely, with the assistance of Corey Tarzik.
