Andrew G. Martin

Biography

Andrew G. Martin is an associate in Blank Rome’s policyholder-only insurance recovery practice. Andrew concentrates his practice on representing and counseling individual and corporate policyholders, including Fortune 500 companies, against global insurers.

Andrew has represented clients in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, banking, commercial real estate, manufacturing, commercial construction, defense, education, entertainment, and other commercial sectors in up to nine-figure coverage disputes. His experience includes an array of high-stakes, complex insurance coverage litigation and advisory matters relating to first-party property, business interruption, commercial general liability, and professional liability policies, as well as specialized coverages, such as representations and warranties, educators’ legal liability, and cyber.

Andrew also has experience in auditing companies’ insurance portfolios, providing coverage analyses and recommendations related to potential future litigation, and engaging in pre-litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

Prior to joining the firm, Andrew served as a litigation associate at a business law firm located in Texas, an intern at a leading consumer financial technology company, and a senior strategy & analytics consultant at an industrial research organization.

Previously, Andrew served as a staff editor of the SMU Law Review.
