Temple University Beasley School of Law Wins 2024 Capitol City Challenge

Temple University Beasley School of Law (“Temple Law”) has won the 2024 Capitol City Challenge. The team was led and coached by Blank Rome associate Timothy (“Timmy”) J. Miller and Delaware County Assistant District Attorney Lewis Reagan.

The Sixteenth Annual Capitol City Challenge was hosted by The American University Washington College of Law on March 21-24, 2024. Approximately 100 law students and coaches from sixteen law schools across the nation participated, and over 150 accomplished federal and state judges, prosecutors, public defenders, and private counsel served as evaluators for the competition.

Timmy led Temple Law’s mock trial team to victory through six undefeated rounds of competition, ultimately defeating Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in the championship round. The team included Lily Winter, Phil Han, Jay Menner, and Katie DiPrinzio.

Timmy previously competed on Temple Law’s National Trial Team during law school and continues to coach Temple Law’s competitive trial teams. At Blank Rome, Timmy concentrates their practice on a wide range of general litigation matters.
