Richard Singleton Appointed Co-Chair of International Bar Association’s Maritime and Transport Law Committee

Blank Rome Partner Richard V. Singleton has been appointed co-chair of the International Bar Association’s (“IBA”) Maritime and Transport Law Committee for a two-year term. The committee is one of the oldest and most established committees of the IBA, which is the world's leading international organization of legal practitioners, bar associations, and law societies.

Consisting of more than 650 members worldwide, the Maritime and Transport Law Committee has a tradition of being the platform where leading maritime law professionals meet, create connections, and discuss the most current legal issues in the field of maritime and transport law. The committee is also active in cooperating with other organizations in the maritime law area, such as Comite Maritime International, International Maritime Organization Legal Council, and maritime law societies in jurisdictions around the world.
