Blank Rome Welcomes New Insurance Recovery Associate in New York
Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Kelly A. Jauregui Wueste has joined the New York office as an associate in the Firm’s nationally recognized Insurance Recovery group. She joins Blank Rome from Lowenstein Sandler LLP.
The move reunites Kelly with her former colleagues, Partner Natasha Romagnoli and Associate Anna K. Milunas, who joined Blank Rome’s New York and Los Angeles offices from McKool Smith in 2019, as well as further bolsters the group’s national presence, following last year’s significant addition of a leading insurance recovery team in the Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., offices.
Kelly represents corporate policyholders in disputes against insurance companies involving a wide array of insurance policies, including commercial general liability, directors and officers liability, professional liability/errors and omissions, employment practices liability, first-party property, representations and warranties, and cybersecurity. She has also handled various internal investigations and complex commercial litigations, including breach of contract, intellectual property, employment, and tort claims.
Kelly is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. She earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School where she was the president of the Latino Law Students Association, served as article editor for the Michigan Journal of Gender and Law, volunteered with the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Project, and was the recipient of the Juan Luis Tienda Memorial Scholarship. She received her B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from Wellesley College and is fluent in Spanish.
