Blank Rome Raises $19,000 for Legal Aid Society of D.C.’s Generous Associates Campaign
Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that the Firm raised more than $19,000 for the Legal Aid Society of D.C.’s 2018 Generous Associates Campaign, an annual fundraising drive run by associates from law firms throughout Washington, D.C.
Blank Rome Associate Kyle P. Brinkman led the Firm’s fundraiser as this year’s campaign coordinator, with his tireless efforts resulting in nearly 50 individual donations from Blank Rome attorneys and staff, more than double the previous year, in addition to the Firm’s donation. The combined contributions placed Blank Rome as the sixth top fundraising firm in the competitive 101-150 attorneys category.
In addition, a number of Blank Rome professionals were named Legal Aid’s Outstanding Generous Associates, which recognizes all non-partner donors who have given an accumulative total of $300 or more to this year’s campaign.
The 2018 Generous Associates Campaign ran from June 1 to July 31, and consisted of 97 participating law firms that together raised a record $2.15 million for Legal Aid this summer. The critical funds raised through the campaign allow Legal Aid to continue to provide free legal services to the neediest members of the D.C. community in the areas of domestic violence, family housing, public benefits, immigration, and consumer law.
