Samantha Wallack Recognized as a 2023 Lawyer in Real Estate by Connect CRE

Blank Rome is pleased to announce that partner Samantha Wallack, who serves as co-chair of the firm’s national Real Estate group, was recognized as a “2023 Lawyer in Real Estate” by Connect CRE in its annual Lawyers in Real Estate Awards.

Samantha is one of 10 attorneys honored with this recognition in the New York & Tri State area. According to Connect CRE, "the award celebrates real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their practice and the larger community."

Samantha Wallack, partner at Blank Rome LLP, is co-chair of the firm’s national real estate practice group and the group’s first female leader. She is a trusted adviser to a diverse clientele, including private equity funds, developers, private REITs, family businesses, insurance companies and realty advisers, concerning sales and acquisitions, joint venture agreements and equity investments, financings, portfolio transactions, workouts and restructuring and leasing. Her practice involves all asset classes and types of real estate including industrial, multifamily, mixed-use, retail and office.

Wallack’s most prominent, recent matters include representing a private equity firm in connection with a $5.1-billion acquisition of a global financial corporation’s affordable housing portfolio. She also led a Blank Rome team in guiding a privately held real estate developer through successfully acquiring and financing a 95-unit multifamily property in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood for $71.02 million.

She is one of the founding partners of Blank Rome’s Women Who Lead and is deeply involved with her clients’ all-women affinity groups. She is a member of the New Member Committee for WX – New York Women Executives in Real Estate. Wallack is also involved with pro bono work for organizations, including 866-Our-Vote, NYAGRA and Reproductive Health Legal Assistance Program run by Lawyers for Good Government. She is also active with Friends of the Children of New York, Best Friends of New York and Soul of Satos Rescue.

Wallack is listed in The Legal 500 U.S. New York Business Journal named her a Woman of Influence.

She earned her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University.
