Blank Rome Recognized in 2024 Preservation Achievement Awards

Blank Rome is pleased to announce the firm has been recognized in the Philadelphia Preservation Alliance’s 2024 Preservation Achievement Awards, which pays tribute to projects from throughout Greater Philadelphia that exemplify outstanding achievement in the field of historic preservation.

The firm was recognized in the Grand Jury Award category for its contributions to the preservation of the Paper Factory Lofts. Along with the firm, project team members include Urban Conversions, CBP Architects, Powers & Company, Larsen & Landis, Stonehenge Capital, Republic Bank, and others.

The Blank Rome team, led by partner Adam E. Laver, secured the permitting approvals for the conversion of the historic property into modern loft apartments. 

According to the Preservation Alliance, the Grand Jury Awards celebrate the highest level of achievement in historic preservation for:

  • preserving/protecting historic resources in the built environment;
  • historic building restoration, rehabilitation, or adaptive re-use;
  • sympathetic new construction or additions associated with historic properties; and
  • documentation of significant historic resources in the built environment.

All of the honorees will be recognized at an award ceremony on June 5, 2024, in Philadelphia.
