Blank Rome Partner Beth Bernstein Connors has been selected as one of the National LGBT Bar Association’s 2020 Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40. The notable award recognizes LGBTQ+ legal professionals under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their field and have demonstrated a profound commitment to LGBTQ+ equality. Awardees will be recognized during a special awards lunch at the 2020 Lavender Law® Conference and Career Fair, which will be held August 12–14, 2020, in Washington, D.C.

At Blank Rome, Beth concentrates her practice on commercial real estate matters, focusing on acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leasing, financing, and joint ventures. She represents a broad array of national clients, including owners of retail, office, industrial, and multifamily properties; landlords; large and small retail and office tenants; and borrowers of portfolio and single-asset mortgage loans. In recognition of her practice, Beth was named a New York Metro “Rising Star” in Real Estate Law by Super Lawyers in 2018 and 2019.

As co-chair of the Firm’s BR Pride affinity group, Beth leads Blank Rome’s ongoing efforts to fostering and promoting diversity and inclusion in our workplace and the legal industry, which have earned the Firm a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index for five years in a row. Through a series of receptions, seminars, and networking events, BR Pride is committed to bringing together the Firm’s attorneys, professional staff, and clients in an atmosphere of meaningful inclusion that supports the LGBTQ+ community, both locally and nationally. The group also participates in the LGBT Bar’s Annual Lavender Law® Career Fair and partners with numerous organizations to provide pro bono aid and assistance to LGBTQ+ individuals and communities.
