Blank Rome Partner Seth D. Lamden will be a speaker at the 2021 Insurance Bad Faith and Extra-Contractual Liability Seminar, a multi-day program hosted by DRI July 22 through 24, 2021.
Seth’s session, “View from the Policyholder Side,” will take place on Friday, July 23, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. CDT. This session will look at the line between proper aggressive advocacy and bad faith conduct. Speakers will sketch out several scenarios in the context of first- and third-party claims adjustment and coverage litigation, and in each will ask, “Was the elusive line crossed?” as a way to present a framework for thinking through the propriety of conduct both to advise clients and to govern our own conduct as insurance coverage lawyers.
