U.S. Sanctions and Trade Policy: Key Issues and Updates
Blank Rome Partner Matthew J. Thomas will speak at a Trade Sanctions Event in Duabi, UAE, on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. Blank Rome LLP and international commercial law firm Ince & Co are co-sponsors of this event, a comprehensive sanctions seminar covering both U.S. and EU regimes in relation to Iran and other trade hotspots, that will provide an opportunity to hear from and ask questions to both Ince and Blank Rome attorneys regarding updates on the latest changes to U.S. sanctions policies and the impact they have on businesses in the Middle East, as well as to learn practical tips on managing associated risks.
Matt’s session, “U.S. Sanctions and Trade Policy: Key Issues and Updates,” will provide a compliance-focused update on the latest changes to U.S. sanctions policies involving Iran, Russia, Venezuela, and other geopolitical hotspots, and a look forward at the major U.S. trade issues that lie ahead for 2019–2020.
Other sessions will include “Snap back of the U.S. Sanctions on Iran: Impact on the Businesses in the Middle East” and “When the Inspector Calls.”
