Blank Rome Partner Jonathan Scott Goldman will facilitate the joint program, “The Proliferation of Online Extremism: How Digital Hate Groups Provoke Inter-Community Conflict” hosted by the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, with the Anti-Defamation League (“ADL”), American Jewish Committee (“AJC”), and the Network Contagion Research Institute (“NCRI”), taking place as an online webinar on December 7, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. EST.
The program features Dr. Joel Finkelstein, cofounder of NCRI, who will present on the local and national rise of extremism on social media, especially following this summer’s killing of George Floyd. He will focus on how extremist groups across the ideological spectrum have affected other communities throughout the United States through their online presence, and how these groups impact Jews and other minority communities.
