Blank Rome Partner Mike Margolis, Shanghai Office and Asia Practice Chair, will be a guest lecturer at East China University of Political Science and Law (“ECUPL”) in Shanghai, China, on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Mike’s lecture, “Master Class in Handling U.S. Litigation for Chinese Clients,” will address aspects of U.S. civil litigation that pose special challenges for Chinese companies, including particular problems in pre-litigation considerations, personal jurisdiction and venue, depositions and discovery, dispositive motions, settlement, trial, and enforcement of judgments.
ECUPL is ranked by the Chinese Ministry of Education as one of China’s top seven law schools.
