Hot Tips on PreNups & PostNups

27th Annual Family Law Nuts & Bolts of Divorce Seminar

Blank Rome Partner Michelle M. Gervais will be a speaker at the 27th Annual Family Law Nuts & Bolts of Divorce Seminar, presented by Dade Legal Aid-Put Something Back Program, the Dade County Bar Association’s Family Courts Committee and its Young Lawyers Section, taking place Wednesday, December 4, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Lawson E. Thomas Court Center, 11th Floor Conference Room, 175 N.W. 1st Avenue, Miami, FL 33128.

Michelle’s session, “Hot Tips on PreNups & PostNups,” will provide the ins and outs of prenuptial and post nuptial agreements and best practices.  Michelle will be followed by the Honorable Samantha Ruiz Cohen (Eleventh Judicial Circuit) presenting “View from Bench” and Dori Foster Morales, President Elect, The Florida Bar presenting “Mental Health and Wellness.”

The seminar is free for attorneys who agree to accept at least one Family Law case from Dade Legal Aid’s Put Something Back Program. The Put Something Back Pro Bono Project is the official program for providing pro bono, or free legal assistance to the needy population of Miami-Dade County. It is designed to increase access to the civil legal system by serving as an umbrella agency for referral to all other legal service providers and as a clearinghouse for attorneys who volunteer to help the indigent of the community.
