Bryn Mawr Film Institute
824 Lancaster Ave
Bryn Mawr, PA

Blank Rome Partner David M. Perry will speak as a panelist at “The First Public Screening and Panel Discussion: When George Got Murdered,” taking place at 6:30 p.m. on April 7, 2022, at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. When George Got Murdered is a Terrance Tykeem film based around the events following the murder of George Floyd, and the cast includes Montel Williams, Beanie Sigel, Robert Ri'chard, Robert Wuhl, Don Most, DJ Diamond Kutz, Mina SayWhat, and Kevin Savage.

The event is organized and hosted by the SRC, the Systemic Reformative Change Organization, a nonprofit formed by SRC visionary and founder, Tyree Wallace, with the help of David and Blank Rome. Mr. Wallace is an inmate wrongfully convicted and currently serving his 24th year in prison, currently awaiting consideration of his clemency application filed on his behalf by the Pennsylvania Innocence Project. The event will raise awareness and funds for SRC, Mr. Wallace’s legal defense fund, and also Stephen Girard Elementary School, for which SRC is working to buy new tables and chairs for the students.

The event is free, but seating is limited and first come, first admitted.
