Blank Rome Partner Jeffrey N. Rosenthal and Associate Gregory S. Bergman are organizers for the Community Legal Services of Philadelphia (“CLS”) program, “A Decade of Diversion: An All-Sides View of Mortgage Foreclosure Prevention,” taking place Wednesday, April 25, 2018, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., with a reception to follow.

Justice Rising Advocates (“JRA”), a group of young professionals who support CLS’s fight for justice, will present the CLE program, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Mortgage Foreclosure Diversion Program, born after the economic collapse of 2008, and its impact on low-income homeowners. The speakers will discuss legal strategies and tactics to address current challenges around predatory lending practices and tangled title matters, and how legal aid, municipal services, the courts, and the private bar work together for successful outcomes.

Jeffrey and Greg and are JRA Executive Committee members and Jeff also serves as a Board Member.
