Blank Rome Partner Jeffrey N. Rosenthal will be a speaker at Rutgers Law School’s Center for Corporate Law & Governance’s Fourth Annual Corporate Compliance Institute, being held Friday, April 12, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (with a reception to follow), at Rutgers Law School in Camden, New Jersey.

Jeffrey’s panel, “Data Governance, Stewardship, and Privacy,” will take place from 10:55 to 12:10 and he will be joined by Sean McDonald, Frontline SMS and Stanford Digital Civil Society Lab; David Allen, Senior Vice President of Business Operations and General Counsel, Dyn, Inc. (an Oracle unit); and Moderator David Wishnick, Academic Fellow, Center for Technology, Innovation, and Competition, University of Pennsylvania Law School.

The panel will take a look at cybersecurity and privacy in the context of a firm’s overall approach to data governance and examine the responsible use of data, proactive compliance policies to prevent security breaches, international issues (including data on foreign customers, or data that crosses national boundaries), and the ethics around the use of customer information.
