CohnReznick’s New Markets Tax Credit Virtual Summit

Online via Live Webinar

Blank Rome LLP is proud to be a sponsor of CohnReznick’s New Markets Tax Credit Virtual Summit where Tax Partner Michael I. Sanders will speak on the “Broadband, Housing, Transportation & Education” panel session held on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. EDT.

Led by a CohnReznick moderator, Michael will be joined by fellow speakers from Arctaris, the National Development Council, the Corporation for Supportive Housing, and TD Community Development Corporation to discuss additional critical infrastructures to a fully functioning community and how they are all interconnected and impact low-income countries (“LICs”) and low-income persons on many levels. The panel will also focus on innovative strategies to leverage their effectiveness so that community stability is a priority.

In response to public health and safety concerns due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s three-day summit will be held virtually on May 18‒20, 2020, from 12:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. EDT. It will feature breakout sessions with live Q&A, online chat capabilities with CohnReznick experts and industry leaders, access to exhibitors’ virtual booths, and virtual networking happy hours. The overall theme of this year’s summit will be an exploration of the acute vulnerability LICs are facing and the opportunity for the community development industry to come together to work towards a better tomorrow. Key focus areas include legislative updates; infrastructure needs; re-exploring the healthcare, education, and food economy asset classes; and workforce development, data analytics, and sources of leverage.
