2020–2021 Notable Losses
Lauren B. Wilgus will speak at the 2021 Houston Marine & Energy Insurance Conference (“HMEIC”), being held September 19 through 21, 2021, at the Westin Galleria in Houston, Texas.
Lauren’s presentation, “2020–2021 Notable Losses,” will take place on Monday, September 20, from 1:25 to 2:10 p.m.
HMEIC is held annually in Houston, Texas, the world’s leading energy hub and an essential port for global shipping. The three-day Conference offers networking opportunities; continuing education credits for insurance adjusters, brokers, and attorneys; and keynote speeches that attract a wide array of marine and energy industry professionals. Since its inception, the mission of the Conference has been:
- To inform attendees on issues and events that have or will have an impact their businesses
- To introduce a group of insurance, finance and/or business students to the exciting fields of marine and energy insurance and law
- To provide financial assistance to various institutions of higher learning who are educating and developing the marine and energy insurance and law professionals of tomorrow
To date, the Conference has donated over $1,200,000 in program assistance and scholarships to the law schools and universities that we support.
Jeremy A. Herschaft is a volunteer member of the 2021 Houston Marine & Energy Insurance Conference Planning Committee and Blank Rome Maritime is pleased to be a sponsor of this event.
