Mary Craig Calkins Elected Revenue Officer of the ABA Section of Litigation

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Mary Craig Calkins, a partner in the Firm’s Insurance Recovery group, was elected as the national Revenue Officer of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. Her two-year term begins this month.

Mary has been actively involved in the Section for more than 25 years. She has held numerous positions within the Section’s leadership and committees, including serving on Council, the Section’s governing body. In her capacity as Revenue Officer, Mary will oversee the Section’s operational funding and revenue, and will be responsible for policies, procedures, and sponsor relations. In addition, she will be a part of the Section’s planning, budgeting, and fundraising efforts and will be intimately involved in some of the Section’s main activities and initiatives, including policy, administration, membership, and diversity issues.

The Section of Litigation, one of the largest sections of the American Bar Association, provides litigators of all practice areas the resources needed to become successful and experienced advocates. The Section is a legal publisher, a provider of CLE programming, a source of news and analysis, and a strong national voice in discussions concerning the legal profession. In addition to her American Bar Association involvement, Mary is a past president of the American College of Coverage Counsel, an honorary association recognizing the preeminent coverage lawyers in the nation, and is active in numerous other professional and community organizations and associations.
