Women Leadership in Law 2019

Blank Rome Partners Linda Kornfeld and Stacy Phillips will each moderate a panel at California Lawyer’s upcoming Women Leadership in Law 2019 conference, being held on Thursday, May 9, 2019, in Beverly Hills. This all-day conference brings together law firm and in-house practitioners to participate in insightful discussions on recent topics important to the legal profession and of interest to women leaders.

Linda, who is also a co-chair of the event, will moderate “Women in the C-Suite,” taking place from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. The panelists will be Laurie Korneffel (Vice President, Legal, DigitalGlobe) and Donna L. Wilson (Managing Partner-Elect, Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP), who will provide insights and advice from personal and professional perspectives about the advancement of women and diversity, and its corporate importance and impact.

Stacy’s panel, “Women in Black: Women on the Bench,” being held from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., will include women whose unique paths have made them trailblazers on the bench and in the judiciary:

The keynote speaker for the conference will be Sally Yates, who will share what she has learned about effective, principled, and ethical leadership drawn from her more than 25 years of distinguished service at the U.S. Department of Justice, including as the Acting Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General, the first female U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, and an accomplished federal prosecutor who tried numerous high-profile cases, including the prosecution of Olympic bomber Eric Rudolph.
