Blank Rome Partner Justin A. Chiarodo will be a panelist at the American Bar Association (“ABA”) Section of Public Contract Law’s 26th Annual Federal Procurement Institute, being held March 11 through 14, 2020, in Annapolis, Maryland.
Justin’s session, “Whither and Whether to Protest: New Legislative and Judicial Developments and their Impact on Filing Decisions,” will take place Thursday, March 12, from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. The panelists will discuss the practical considerations that enter into where and whether to protest, and the impact that proposed legislation and recent judicial decisions have had on that decision-making process.
The Federal Procurement Institute offers a unique opportunity to learn about varying perspectives and reasoning taken by the public contract community’s stakeholders by engaging panelists and participants in a spirited exchange of ideas throughout the multi-day institute and multiple networking events scheduled throughout the program.
The keynote luncheon speaker on Friday, March 13, will be The Honorable Ellen Lord, Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, U. S. Department of Defense.
CLE may be available.
