ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Law-Tech Connect™ Workshop is an educational event that aims to connect and inform all those involved in uncrewed systems and autonomous systems (C-Suite, operators, engineers, attorneys, academics, students, etc.) in a dynamic one-day session of hyper-focused techno-legal content.

Alan’s session, “Surf & Turf: Serving Up Autonomous Regulations,” will take place from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.

ABOUT THE SESSION

A panel of attorneys and key industry partners will provide an overview of the legal regimes applicable to autonomous land and sea and contrast them with those for aircraft. Topics include all the latest legal and regulatory updates and recent court cases impacting uncrewed ground vehicles (“UGVs”), automated driving systems/electric vehicles (“UGVs”/“ADS”), maritime autonomous surface ships (“MASS”), uncrewed underwater vehicles (“UUVs”), and remotely operated vehicles (“ROVs”) in addition to public perception, infrastructure challenges, liability issues, and more.
