Blank Rome partner Anthony Rapa will serve as a panelist at the International Trademark Association’s (“INTA”) 2022 Leadership Meeting, being held November 15 through 18, 2022, in Miami, Florida.

Anthony’s session, “Navigating the Maze of Embargoes and Sanctions,” will take place on Friday, November 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

ABOUT THE SESSION

The ever-changing scene around the world with respect to embargoes and sanctions and the way they affect intellectual property (“IP”) rights requires professionals and brand owners to stay up to date and adapt their strategies for IP protection, enforcement, and licensing accordingly. This session will explore the different levels of sanctions and embargoes and discuss the relevant issues that must be considered by IP professionals and brand owners. An update on the current sanctions and embargo will also be provided.
