Bid Protests at the Court of Federal Claims: From the Bench, the Bar, and Beyond

Blank Rome-Hosted Event

1825 Eye Street NW
Washington, D.C., 20006

Blank Rome partner Dominique Casimir will serve as a speaker at the Blank Rome-hosted event "Bid Protests at the Court of Federal Claims: From the Bench, the Bar, and Beyond" at our office in Washington, D.C., with a virtual option, on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This event is sponsored by the D.C. Bar Government Contracts Community.

About The Program

Bid protests usually conjure images of the Government Accountability Office, which has long enjoyed unofficial status as the default bid protest forum, but that is starting to change. The Court of Federal Claims has increasingly become the preferred forum for many protesters. Although the two forums are similar in many respects, there are a number of unique aspects to litigating bid protests at the Court of Federal Claims that successful practitioners must know. This panel will discuss those unique aspects from the perspective of the key stakeholders: the bench, the bar, and the client.

This is a hybrid program, and pre-registration is required.

Panelists

  • Dominique Casimir, Partner, Blank Rome
  • Hon. Matthew Solomson, Court of Federal Claims
  • Taylor Brown, Counsel (Federal Practice Lead), IBM
