2023 Black History Month: Never Far from Home Fireside Chat and Book Signing Reception

In honor of Black History Month, Blank Rome will present a fireside chat with Bruce Jackson, the author of Never Far from Home, who will be having a candid discussion on how we got here and where we need to go—discussing racism, his experience through life, and how he ascended above it all. The event will take place on February 21, 2023, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. EST, in our New York Office, with a reception to follow. (A virtual option for attending the chat is also available.)

Bruce Jackson is a renowned Black author, associate general counsel and managing director of strategic partnerships at Microsoft, and a strategic adviser to the president of Microsoft with over 32 years of experience assisting public and privately held companies including financial services, health and life science, public sector, and entertainment companies grow their businesses. Bruce’s career reflects a demonstrated track record in supporting successful large-scale transformation and executing digital transformation transactions in domestic and global markets. He has been successful in helping customers in regulated industries meet their regulatory requirements when migrating to the cloud. He is credited with helping to remove blockers to help both financial and professional service companies move to the cloud. He brings a broad range of skills, including technical, leadership, business management, and creative thinking. He also brings deep privacy and security experience through his work with customers’ migration to the cloud.
