For the 14th year in a row, World Trademark Review ("WTR") 1000 has recognized Blank Rome as a leading trademark practice in Pennsylvania. The publication praised Blank Rome for building its Intellectual Property (“IP”) practice on responsiveness and knowledge sharing, noting that the group "is a cohesive unit offering trademark, patent, and copyright services across the United States and China," and that the firm's "Philadelphia practice is upheld by highly adept IP specialists."

Five Blank Rome partners are also individually recognized in this year's publication. WTR noted that David M. Perry, who serves as co-chair of the firm's Intellectual Property and Technology group, "handles complex international portfolios for companies of varying sizes." Timothy D. Pecsenye was recognized as "a sure pick for any issues brought before the US Patent and Trademark Office." The publication states that Matthew A. Homyk "offers a niche in IP issues relating to the internet." Zachary A. Aria was recognized as a "multinational practitioner" focusing on trademark counseling, and Megan E. Spitz made her debut in the rankings with WTR noting her "vocation in advertising issues for brands."
