Biography
Evan Spencer focuses his practice on the areas of maritime and energy litigation.
Evan represents clients in the marine, energy, and transportation industries. He counsels clients regarding a wide range of matters, including maritime and energy-related tort and contract disputes both on and offshore.
Prior to joining Blank Rome, Evan served as an associate attorney with the maritime groups of Gulf South regional and national law firms. He also previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable K. Nicole Mitchell at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Outside the Firm
Evan is a proud dad and husband. Outside of work, he enjoys running and spending time on the water with his wife and daughters.
Affiliations
Evan serves as a member of YoungShip International’s International Maritime Organization Working Group and is an active member of the Galveston Propeller Club.
He has also served as a contributor to Boating Briefs, a publication by the Maritime Law Association of the United States, and as a peer reviewer for The Journal of Maritime Law and Commerce.
