About Samuel M. Walker

Samuel Walker maintains a national practice in the area of real estate. His clients include private equity funds, public companies, real estate investment funds, financial institutions, developers, and landlords and tenants. Sam counsels clients in the following areas:
- Sales, acquisitions, and development
- Financing
- Equity investments and joint ventures
- Commercial leasing
- Workouts and restructuring
Sam has extensive experience in the retail sector. He regularly advises retail tenants in national and regional leasing roll-out programs and has recently specialized in representing tenants in the health, wellness and medical sectors. Additionally, Sam represents numerous owners of street retail and shopping centers in their leasing programs.
He is a frequent lecturer and author on topics of interest in the real estate industry, including most recently on work-outs and restructuring.
Outside the Firm
Sam loves to play golf and tennis and ski. He was the captain of his college tennis team at Hamilton College and continues to hold several school records, including most victories.
