Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Molly M. Gallagher has joined the firm’s Chicago office as an associate in the Corporate, M&A, and Securities group. Molly’s arrival continues the growth of the Corporate group, which has now welcomed 10 attorneys this year, including five partners, one of counsel, and four associates. Molly joins Blank Rome after serving as associate counsel at Rosecrance Behavioral Health.
Molly focuses on corporate and transactional matters, with experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including affiliation, management, asset purchase, and settlement agreements, as well as term sheets. She also advises on regulatory compliance, including Anti-Kickback Statue and Eliminating Kickbacks in Recovery Act enforcement trends, compliance-focused businesses relationships and incentive programs, and licensure, scope of practice, privacy, and confidentiality matters, including as a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”) Privacy Officer designee.
Admitted to practice in Illinois, Molly received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Northern Illinois University College of Law, and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Northern Illinois University. Molly serves as a member of the American Health Law Association.
