Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Erin M. Brown and Nicole You have joined the firm’s Los Angeles office as associates in the Matrimonial & Family Law group. They join from highly regarded boutique matrimonial firms and follow the group’s recent additions of counsel Jackielyn H. Abellada and associates J Ross Jurow and Robyn B. Straus.
Erin focuses on all aspects of family law, including child custody, visitation, support, property division, and domestic violence restraining orders. She also has significant experience with high-conflict dissolution and parentage matters, discovery strategy, pleadings, depositions, and trial preparation.
Erin is licensed to practice in California. She earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A. from Michigan State University. While in law school, she served as a law clerk at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and at a global nonprofit organization focused on animal welfare.
Nicole focuses her practice on complex family law matters involving high-net-worth parties. Her experience spans prenuptial agreements, child custody and access rights, domestic violence, child and spousal support, and property division.
Admitted to practice in California, Nicole earned her J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Chicago. During law school, she served as a judicial extern to a family law judicial officer at the Los Angeles Superior Court, worked as a summer associate at a boutique family law firm, and volunteered with a nonprofit family law legal aid organization.
