Robyn B. Straus

Robyn Straus represents high-net-worth clients in complex matrimonial actions, managing all phases of litigation from inception through resolution, including case strategy, motion practice, discovery, expert coordination, trial, and post-trial proceedings.

Robyn has extensive experience drafting pleadings, motions, affidavits, and memoranda of law on complex issues in matrimonial and financial litigation. She leads all aspects of discovery, including drafting demands and responses, negotiating scope, managing document productions, and handling privilege issues. Robyn analyzes complex financial records and sophisticated asset structures across high-asset matters, including tax returns, compensation arrangements, business interests, investment portfolios, venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, closely held companies, and cryptocurrency holdings. She also directs and coordinates financial experts, forensic accountants, and valuation professionals, translating complex financial analysis into legal arguments and preparing experts for deposition and trial testimony.

Prior to joining the firm, Robyn served as a matrimonial litigation associate at a boutique family law firm in New York, a litigation associate at a major international law firm, and a legal consultant for a New York-based virtual clinic and telehealth company.

While in law school, Robyn served as a litigation extern for a nonprofit civil rights organization and a legal analyst for a women’s digital healthcare company. She was also a member of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal.

Prior to attending law school, Robyn was in regulatory product operations at a rideshare company.
