Kimura</a> has joined the firm’s Washington, D.C., office in the <a href="/services-and-industries/international-trade/" type="poa_practice" id="18498">International Trade</a> group. Christopher concentrates his practice on a wide range of international trade matters, primarily focusing on antidumping (“AD”) and countervailing duty (“CVD”) proceedings, and trade litigation.

Christopher joins Blank Rome following his role as a staff attorney in the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Office of the Chief Counsel for Trade Enforcement &amp; Compliance. In this role, Christopher served as legal counsel to agency officials advising on laws, regulations, and judicial precedent relating to AD and CVD proceedings. Christopher also reviewed complex decision-making memoranda issued in AD and CVD investigations and other administrative proceedings, contributed to regulatory rulemaking by reviewing public comments and drafting responses, and defended agency actions in litigation before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Court of International Trade.

Admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Christopher received his J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law, his M.A. from American University, and his B.A.&nbsp;from Boston University. During law school, Christopher served as a legal intern at the International Trade Commission and the U.S. Department of Commerce.&nbsp;
