A Blank Rome team represented Raventós Codorníu, Spain’s oldest winemaking group and a portfolio company of the Carlyle Group, on the sale of Artesa Winery in Napa, California, to an affiliate of Jean-Charles Boisset, president of Boisset Collection. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Raventós Codorníu founded Artesa in 1991 in Carneros, Napa County. The winery encompasses 150 acres of vineyards and produces a variety of critically acclaimed sparkling and still wines crafted from estate-grown Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, and Albariño. Artesa’s striking contemporary property, designed by Barcelona architect Domingo Triay and built into the hillside with sweeping views of San Pablo Bay, has become a landmark Napa Valley destination.
