Blank Rome partner Robert P. Jacobs participated as an arbitrator in the <a href="https://londonpremoot.uk/">2024 London Pre-Moot</a>, part of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (“Vis Moot”).

The objective of the Vis Moot is to foster study in the area of international commercial arbitration and encourage the resolution of business disputes by arbitration. The Vis Moot attracts teams from approximately 300 law schools from around the world and is held each year in Vienna, Austria.

To prepare for the Vis Moot, pre-moots are held in various locations, also around the world. The London Pre-Moot, which took place February 24 through 25, 2024, was held at the International Dispute Resolution Centre and included more than 30 law school teams from throughout Europe, as well as from India and the United States.
