Josef W. Mintz Elected to Turnaround Management Association’s 2024 Executive Board

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Josef W. Mintz, a partner in the firm’s Finance, Restructuring, and Bankruptcy group, has been elected to the Turnaround Management Association’s (“TMA”) 2024 Global Executive Board. Joe will serve as TMA Global’s corporate secretary and a member of the TMA Global board of trustees beginning on January 1, 2024.

A longtime leader of the association at both the regional and global levels, Joe has previously served as president of the TMA’s Philadelphia/Wilmington chapter, as well as on the chapter’s board of directors as the vice president of programming and is a former chair of its NextGen Committee. At TMA Global, Joe has previously served as Chair of the Chapter Presidents’ Council and Vice President of Membership.

TMA is a leading organization dedicated to turnaround management, corporate restructuring, and distressed investing. Established in 1988, the association has nearly 10,000 members in 54 chapters worldwide, including 34 in North America. Members include turnaround practitioners, attorneys, accountants, advisors, liquidators, investment bankers, and consultants, as well as academic, government, and judicial employees.

At Blank Rome, Joe represents a range of clients with a focus on distressed and turnaround-related matters, including chapter 7 and 11 cases, chapter 15 and related international insolvency matters, bankruptcy litigation, out-of-court workouts, asset sales, and commercial financing. Joe has extensive experience representing a diverse range of stakeholders including business owners, lenders, unsecured creditors, trustees, lessors, and asset purchasers.
