Blank Rome partner Seth D. Lamden, a former chair of the American Bar Association (“ABA”) Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section’s Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee, will serve as a panelist at the ABA TIPS 32nd Annual Toxic Tort & Environmental Law Conference, being held April 11 through 13, 2024, in Scottsdale, Arizona.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The program will focus on the development and defense of novel toxic tort and environmental science through the lens of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (“PFAS”). Speakers will provide an analysis of the most recent national trends in toxic tort and environmental litigation, including takeaways from recent benzene, ethylene oxide, and glyphosate (i.e., Roundup) matters, discussions with regulators and educators regarding the future of regulatory affairs, and new routes of chemical exposure and ingestion. Panelists will speak on the differences in personal injury litigation, environmental due diligence, and environmental restoration litigation.

Seth’s session, “Insurance Coverage,” will take place on Friday, April 12, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.

ABOUT THE SESSION
