Simon I. Bord

Biography

Simon Bord concentrates his practice on commercial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures for both financial and strategic buyers and sellers, as well as providing general corporate counsel to private and public companies through all stages of their growth. Simon regularly handles a wide range of agreements, prepares securities filings with the SEC and FINRA, and conducts due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Simon represents angel investors seeking to make seed-stage financing investments in emerging growth companies.

While in law school, Simon served as judicial extern to the Honorable Lois H. Goodman of the District of New Jersey as well as a legal intern for the Bucks County Public Defender’s Office. He was also an associate of the Legal Information Institute Supreme Court Bulletin and acquisitions editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy. During this time, he also authored “Drunk Driving, Blood, and Breath: The Impact of Birchfield v. North Dakota,” 627 Cornell J. L. & Pub. Pol’y 841 (2018).
