Biography
Gabrielle I. Weiss is an employment litigator with several years of experience representing clients in single-plaintiff and complex multi-plaintiff matters. She brings a pragmatic approach to high-stakes disputes and day-to-day workplace challenges, drawing on extensive experience across the full lifecycle of litigation and a deep understanding of how employment issues intersect with broader business objectives. Her experience on both sides of the docket, representing both employers and employees, gives her a 360-degree view of employment disputes, allowing her to anticipate opposing strategies, calibrate risk, and position corporate clients for efficient, favorable resolutions.
Gabrielle handles cases from the ground up, including pre-litigation demand strategy, administrative complaints and charges, claim investigation, responsive pleadings, written discovery and depositions, and post-discovery motions. She has significant experience in arbitrations and mediations. Her litigation practice includes matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, restrictive covenants, trade secret, and other employment-related claims under federal and state law.
Beyond the courtroom, Gabrielle handles sensitive internal investigations, including potential violations of anti-discrimination statutes, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements. She regularly advises on policy drafting and employee handbook revisions, helping employers operationalize compliance in clear, practical terms. Gabrielle also counsels on labor and employment due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, assessing workforce risks, integration considerations, and compliance gaps that can influence deal value and post-close execution. In addition, Gabrielle advises employers on immigration compliance, including I-9 audits, remediation strategies, and preparing for agency inspections.
Gabrielle has budding experience in labor matters, including collective bargaining and the defense of unfair labor practice charges.
Outside the Firm
Gabrielle and her husband, Eric, spend most of their free time pandering to their rescue dog, Gloria, discovering new restaurants, and traveling when time permits.
