Biography
Cooper Moore focuses his practice on corporate transactions and financial analysis, with experience spanning mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, and regulatory compliance.
He also leads and supports due diligence efforts and deal execution for transactions ranging from multimillion-dollar mergers to asset acquisitions across a wide variety of industries including biotechnology, healthcare, food manufacturing, and event services.
Prior to joining the firm, Cooper served as a corporate associate at an international law firm.
While in law school, Cooper externed for a national bank and a consumer financial services company. Additionally, he also served as an executive board member for SMU’s Science and Technology Law Review Journal as its Senior Articles Director.
Outside the Firm
Cooper enjoys serving and attending at Highland Park Presbyterian Church. He also enjoys grilling, golfing, running and spending time with friends, family, and his two dogs.

- A food manufacturer’s equity agreements in connection with its definitive purchase agreement with an industry competitor valued at $41M.
- A healthcare company’s ancillary agreements to its definitive purchase agreement with an international acquirer valued at $20M.
- An event service company’s diligence efforts in connection with an asset purchase from an industry competitor valued at $10M.
- A landscaping company’s governing documents and ancillary agreements in connection with a $1.2M capital raise.

Cooper also serves on DAYL’s Transactional Law Committee, Bolton Ball Auction Committee, and Social Committee.
