Blank Rome Maritime partner Jeanne M. Grasso will serve as a panelist at the European International Shipowners’ Association of Portugal’s (“EISAP”) Madeira Maritime Week, being held May 19 to 23, 2025, in Funchal, Portugal.
Jeanne’s session, “WISTA Atlantic Forum: Reducing Bureaucracy in the Shipping Industry,” will take place on Wednesday, May 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
About the Session
Like many other sectors, the shipping industry is burdened by bureaucracy. The panel will discuss how bureaucracy can be reduced to enhance competitiveness compared to other countries and regions outside Europe and what reforms and simplifications might look like.
