What is really happening to the legal profession? The independence of lawyers: is it in question? What is being decided in Washington and Brussels—in terms of policies, regulation, and new geopolitical arrangements—is redesigning the conditions in which lawyers practice their profession, everywhere. Presenters who analyze and experience these phenomena up close will discuss the issues.

Massimo’s session, “Geopolitical Tensions and the Rule of Law: The Future as Seen from NY,” will follow “An Overview and the Role of the Media” and precede “The New Council of Europe Convention on Lawyers: What's New for Professionals?”
