Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that the firm’s Comisky Cup was presented to Blank Rome’s Houston office for the second consecutive year.
In 2025, our colleagues in the Houston office worked on pro bono matters spanning a variety of areas: assisting clients with asylum and immigration matters, engaging in voter protection work, handling guardianship and family law cases, and representing small businesses and nonprofit organizations, including the Houston Food Bank, among other impactful initiatives.
Named in honor of Marvin Comisky, one of Blank Rome’s first managing partners and a lifelong supporter of pro bono, the Comisky Cup is awarded annually to the office with the best pro bono performance.
“It has been another eventful year for pro bono in Houston,” said Neil F. Young, associate and member of Houston’s pro bono committee. “This recognition reflects the dedication of our colleagues and our continued commitment to assisting clients who could not otherwise afford legal counsel.”
