A Blank Rome team successfully closed a Series B venture capital financing for ShipIn Systems Inc., a provider of artificial intelligence (“AI”)-powered operational intelligence for the maritime industry in support of fleet-wide safety, consistency, and performance. The financing brings total capital raised to $52 million and accelerates ShipIn’s mission to power the connected ship by bringing together operational data from across the vessel into a single AI-powered platform, delivering continuous visibility into safety-critical activities and equipment conditions to support proactive risk management, operational benchmarking, and alignment between ship and shore teams across global fleets.
ShipIn’s platform operates across 92 shipowners and more than 1,300 vessels, making it one of the largest AI deployments in commercial shipping. The company’s key investors include Proofpoint Capital, Zeev Ventures, Framework Venture Partners, Bling Ventures, HighSage Ventures, Atinc, Munich Re, Tokyo Marine Future Fund, and Hyperplane Ventures.
