In addition, Blank Rome ranked #2 nationally in the survey’s <a href="https://www.law.com/americanlawyer/2026/09/01/midlevel-associates-increasingly-fear-ai-will-replace-them-/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Technology</a> category, which measures associate satisfaction with firm-provided technology and training resources.

The 2026 survey asked third-, fourth-, and fifth-year associates at Am Law 200 firms to evaluate 12 areas of job satisfaction, including compensation and benefits, training and professional development, relationships with partners and colleagues, the quality and interest level of their work, billable-hour expectations, and management transparency regarding firm strategy and partnership opportunities.

This year’s #1 national ranking builds on Blank Rome’s consistent success in The American Lawyer’s Midlevel Associates Survey. The firm ranked #2 nationally in both 2025 and 2024 and has earned a place among the survey’s top 10 firms nationwide every year since 2022. Blank Rome has also ranked in the top 10 firms nationwide in The American Lawyer’s <a href="/news-and-events/blank-rome-earns-top-10-spot-eighth-consecutive-year-american-lawyers-summer/" type="post" id="29365" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Summer Associates Survey</a> every year since 2018.
