Blank Rome partner <a href="/people/elizabeth-n-jochum/" id="18921">Elizabeth N. Jochum</a> will serve as panelist at the American Bar Association (“ABA”) <a href="https://www.americanbar.org/events-cle/mtg/virtual/446032452/">Section of Public Contract Law Bid Protest Committee Meeting</a> taking place Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 12:00 to 1:15 p.m., followed by a Vice Chair Planning Session from 1:15 to 2:00 p.m. The meeting will be hosted by Blank Rome at our Washington, D.C., office and will include the committee’s “Annual ‘Back to School’ Panel.” An option to attend virtually is available.

Panelists will discuss important bid protest decisions and developments that have occurred over the summer. Elizabeth, who is a Bid Protest Committee co-chair, will join the other committee chairs and vice-chairs after the panel discussion to plan programming for the 2024–25 ABA year.

The Bid Protest Committee provides timely information on developments and a forum for discussing significant issues involving the resolution of bid protests within the federal government, including the agencies, the Government Accountability Office, and judicial forums. It conducts ongoing studies on the efficacy of the system for resolving bid protest of federal agency procurements.
