Corporate Securities Associate
Blank Rome LLP has an opening for a Corporate Securities Associate with at least 3 years of experience. Candidates can be based out of any of our offices. This position is focused on securities matters. The ideal candidate will be able to lead ’34 Act compliance and ’33 Act securities work and have significant experience with capital markets transactions, including public and private offerings of equity, debt and other securities, corporate governance matters, exchange listing requirements, Rule 144, Section 13 and Section 16 issues and familiarity with executive compensation. This Associate will be hired into our Corporate, M&A, and Securities Practice Group.  Candidates must be self-motivated, confident, a personable team player and have outstanding professional and academic credentials. The target annual pay range for this role in New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. is $250,000 - $375,000.  Positions outside of New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. will be subject to annual pay ranges specific to the market for that particular geographic location.  Actual pay will vary depending upon various factors, including relevant experience and skillset.  The compensation range listed is just one component of Blank Rome’s total compensation package for employees.  Other monetary rewards include bonuses based on performance.  In addition, Blank Rome provides a comprehensive suite of benefits to promote health and financial security, including medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as life, accident, and disability insurance plans. Trusts & Estates Associate
The New York office of Blank Rome LLP has an opening for a Trusts & Estates Associate with at least 3-5 years of experience. Candidates must have in-depth, broad-based experience in estate planning and estate administration, and some litigation experience is preferred.  An LLM in Tax is strongly preferred, as well. Candidates must be self-motivated, personable team players, have outstanding academic and professional credentials and be admitted to practice in New York. Patent Agent/Patent Attorney (Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science)
Blank Rome LLP has an opening for a Patent Agent or Patent Attorney with at least 2-4 years of experience to support the Firm's patent prosecution practice, leveraging technical expertise to assist the Firm's clients in protecting their technology with patents. Candidates can be based out of our New York, Houston, Philadelphia or Washington, D.C. offices.  Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.  The Patent Agent or Patent Attorney will draft patent applications and prosecute applications through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as well as support due diligence. Candidates must be registered to practice in front of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, be Patent Bar eligible, and if appropriate, licensed to practice law in their respective state. Candidates must have strong time management skills and be able to meet and manage internal and client-driven deadlines with assignments coming from multiple partners and clients.  Candidates must have strong attention to detail, writing skills, and analytical skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Labor & Employment Associate
The Houston office of Blank Rome LLP has an opening for a Labor & Employment Associate with at least 3 -5 years of experience to join our dynamic team.  We are seeking a lawyer with proven litigation skills handling employment claims and agency charges, injunctions matters, and government audits.  In addition, the role will handle a wide variety of client advice and counseling. The Philadelphia office of Blank Rome LLP has an opening for a Litigation Associate with at least 3-5 years of litigation experience. Candidates should have experience in complex business litigation in state and federal courts with a focus on Pennsylvania courts.  Relevant experience should include outstanding research capabilities, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting written discovery, managing large scale document reviews, taking/defending depositions, and attending court conferences and hearings.  Trial experience is preferred.  Candidates must be self-motivated, personable team players and have outstanding academic and professional credentials, and must be admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
