Blank Rome LLP was presented with the Cross-Border Deal of the Year ($50MM To $100MM) Award by The M&A Advisor in recognition of the firm’s success in the restructuring of Gamida Cell Ltd and Gamida Cell Inc. (“Gamida”). The winners were announced at the 23rd Annual M&A Awards Gala.
A Blank Rome team led by Stanley Tarr, John Lucian, and Evan Zucker, with assistance from Greg Vizza, Regina Stango Kelbon, Lorenzo Thomas, and Jordan Williams, advised Gamida in the company’s global restructuring through a novel use of debt arrangement proceedings in Israel combined with Chapter 15 and 11 proceedings in the United States.
