Blank Rome’s Comisky Cup Presented to Houston Office
Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that the firm’s Comisky Cup was presented to Blank Rome’s Houston office. In 2022, the firm’s Houston office averaged more than 61 pro hours per attorney. The pro bono work done in Houston included voter protection, military discharge upgrade, family law, asylum, eviction prevention, and the representation of small businesses and nonprofit organizations.
The Houston office also developed a partnership with Houston Volunteer Lawyers to staff an ongoing legal clinic at the Spring Branch Family Development Center, which serves a predominantly low-income and immigrant community in Houston.
Named in honor of Marvin Comisky, Blank Rome’s first managing partner and a lifelong supporter of pro bono, the Comisky Cup is awarded annually to the office with the best pro bono performance.
