Blank Rome senior counsel Daniel L. Morgan will serve as faculty for the American Bar Association (“ABA”) Joint Committee on Employee Benefits’ Virtual Employee Benefits Spring Update 2024, being held online on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Virtual Employee Benefits Spring Update 2024 will address the impact of the newest litigation and regulatory changes and highlight other recent developments in employee benefits. As well as an ethics session, panels of experienced ERISA attorneys will discuss these changes and their impact on employers, participants, and plans.

Dan’s session, “Regulatory Update,” will take place from 1:15 to 3:30 p.m. EDT.

ABOUT THE SESSION

This session will feature agency representatives and practitioners providing an in-depth explanation of key recent employee benefits regulatory guidance, including guidance under Secure Act 2.0 by the IRS and Labor Department, the Labor Department’s proposed fiduciary rule, and repeal of the Association Health Plan regulations.
